Policy Advice

Working with and through nine citizen-based Regional Councils, and one stakeholder-based Provincial Council, the Rural Secretariat engages citizens, stakeholders, and communities in deliberative dialogue about the future of rural Newfoundland and Labrador.

It works with Councils to convene learning events, conduct community-based research projects, and host public engagement activities, all of which inform the advice that Councils ultimately develop and submit to government.
