Your Employment Status

For timely referrals and client marketing, it is essential for the staff of the Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities to know which clients are available for work and their current source of income. This information will assist staff members in providing efficient service to you, as well as your public sector employers. Please contact the Office whenever there is a change in your employment status, your availability to work and/or your source of income. Also, be sure advise the office of any changes in your contact information, i.e., phone number, address, etc.

Below is an Employment Status Form that you may use at any time to advise us of any changes in your employment status. For your convenience, you may complete and submit it to us online or print it and forward it via mail. Having this information readily available to our staff will enhance the efficiency of our services to you and potential public sector employers.

I am working, but I am also interested in being considered for other jobs.

I am not working full-time and I am receiving income support (social assistance) or other assistance, e.g. a drug card or education allowance from the Department of Human Resources, Labour and Employment.

I am not working full-time and I am receiving Employment Insurance benefits.
