Clients and Practitioners Wage Subsidy Initiative The Wage Subsidy Initiative provides wage subsidies to provincial departments that hire persons with disabilities in positions related to their training. These short term work opportunities enhance participants’ work experiences and make them more competitive in the labour market. Eligible participants of this Wage Subsidy Initiative must be either in receipt of, or eligible to receive, income support or employment insurance and be registered with our Client Registry.
