Translation Services

The Office of French Services (OFS) is the sole provider of translation services for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Its Translation Services Policy (53KB) ensures that quality translation services are available to all departments within the provincial government.

Various types of documents have been translated by the OFS including regulations and acts, community health materials, forms and applications, reports, notices, correspondence, educational, legal and promotional information as well as web pages.

The OFS also helps departments determine best practices and cost-saving measures and advises on ways to best present information in bilingual format.
