Under the
Canada/Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on
French Language Services (PDF), the mandate of the
Office of French Services (OFS), Public Service
Secretariat, is to build the capacity of the
Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to deliver
quality services in French and to contribute to the
development and vitality of the Francophone
community.
Service areas include:
The OFS also provides
support to the cultural component of the francophone
school/community centres in St. John’s and on the
Port-au-Port Peninsula.
