Disability Employment Programs and Services

Onsite Resource Centre

The Information Resource Centre provides practical job search and career counselling assistance to persons with disabilities. The Centre features:

  • Computer workstations fitted with adaptive programs and equipment – All computers have Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, as well as software tools that assess your office administration skills, i.e., keyboarding and word processing.
  • A printer, photocopier and fax machine available for client use to assist in the job search process.
  • Books and videos related to job search skills, interview preparation, career exploration, résumé writing, disability awareness, and much more.

The Resource Centre is open to clients on a drop-in basis Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

However, if you wish to meet with the Employment Counsellor, you should contact the Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities at 729-5881, or TTY: 729-5441, to set up an appointment.
