RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Providing professional job evaluation and salary management services to the Treasury Board Committee of Cabinet, the Treasury Board Secretariat, and the Newfoundland and Labrador public sector with the aim of ensuring fair, equitable and consistent compensation of public sector employees employed in government departments, government funded agencies, health care sector and education sectors;
  
  
• Formulating compensation policy options and recommendations to the Treasury Board;
  
  
• Developing and managing job evaluation programs and systems;
  
  
• Providing professional consultative and training services;
  
  
• Providing management and organizational design advisory services to government departments;
  
  
• Providing analysis of and recommendations to the Treasury Board committee of Cabinet on submissions from departments/agencies concerning classification, compensation and organizational design issues;
  
  
• Developing and implementing appropriate monitoring and compliance programs.
