A new Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs Secretariat has been established.
A merged secretariat has been established for Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs. The Labrador Affairs branch will become the Labrador Affairs Office of the Executive Council.
Our website is changing to reflect the responsibilities for the secretariat.
Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs Secretariat is a newly established secretariat responsible for coordinating the Provincial Government’s intergovernmental policies and strategies; and managing all government's activities related to Aboriginal affairs, including developing policy and programs, managing federal-provincial agreements, negotiating land claims and providing public information.
