Making A Nomination  

  • Obtain the approval of the nominee, or each member of a team, to stand for nomination. Ensure nominees, including all team members, sign the nomination form, or provide an email verification that nominees have consented to be nominated.

  • Contact a coach to answer questions or assist with the completion of nomination forms. A list of coaches and contact information can be obtained here.

  • Follow the checklist on the nomination form and provide all requested information. Please use the questions provided in the form when completing your nomination.

  • Submit the nomination to the Public Service Award of Excellence, c/o Office of the Clerk of the Executive Council.

The nomination form is designed to allow the nominator to provide information about the nominees' exemplary performance, their positive impact on service delivery or the work environment, and any additional comments the nominator believes will assist the Selection Committee in making its decision.

The Selection Committee base their recommendations on the information contained in the nomination. Please ensure the information provided is relevant.

All information submitted on behalf of nominees will be held in confidence by the Selection Committee secretary and members.
